About This Item
Paris: Ch. Moreau, 1920. Boards. Very Good +. The original edition of this sumptuous collection of deco-ish photographs of Paris storefronts and store fixtures, c. 1920. Complete with 60 loose (as issued) plates, all 60 in rich gravure and all titled and briefly described in the "Table des Planches". The plates are in crisp, lovely, Near Fine to Fine condition and are housed in a beige, pictorial chemise (or portfolio), with light-blue cloth backing and the original, unworn ribbon-ties in place. Light wear along the portfolio's spine ends, light soiling at the rear panel. Still though, sharp and very presentable. Oblong folio, wonderful look at the elegant boutiques and shops of post-World War I Paris.
