The dust jacket is intact and is not price clipped, original price of $28.00 is printed on the top corner of the front flap. The dust jacket has been protected with a clear, removable cover. 430 pages with Index, Bibliography and Notes. The classic history of the Transcontinental Railroad. Only wear to this copy is that there is a tear to the front pastedown - affects the illustrated map on that page - 1/2 inch wide by 2 inches long. Only affects the illustrated map, does not affect the binding - photo attached. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. The edges of the text block are clean. The boards are flat and clean, and the corners are not bumped or creased. Not a library discard, not a remainder. Attached photos are of the copy we have in our inventory.
