A detailed account of the activities of the expedition, based near Angmagssalik, on the east coast of Greenland. Sledge and boat trips were undertaken, two across the icecap, three northward, one to the icecap station thirty miles west. It describes the establishment of the icecap station and five months work there, including the mapping and reconnaissance with the aid of an airplane, particularly the coast northward to Kangerdlugssuag and an attempt to climb Mount Forel..
