Second edition volume one. Third edition volume two. Illustrated with a folding map to volume one. Collated complete. An exploration of the land and people of different areas of North America, including Boston, Portland, Ottawa, Niagara, the Mississippi, and much more. Written by Anthony Trollope, an English novelist and civil servant. Bound in half calf with patterned boards. Externally, worn with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Loss to both spines but predominantly the head of volume one. Marks to the boards. Hinges tender but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd handling mark. Cork library bookplate to the front pastedown. Fair
