NORMA - Opera del Maestro Vincenzo Bellini

This is a complete musical score (sheet music) for the opera "NORMA" - Opera del Maestro VINCENZO BELLINI ("Work of the Master Vincenzo Bellini"). The sheets are string-bound within a heavier canvas-type paper wrap. Complete in 85 pages (all pages are present). Circa 1830's (there is no date of publication stated). "Norma" was first produced at the opera house "La Scala" in Milan, Italy on December 26, 1831. Please see the photos for the "Indice" (Index) showing the various parts of the Opera. The sheets are written entirely in Italian. "Riduzione per Piano-forte del M. Luigi Truzzi" (Reduction for Piano-forte by Mr. Luigi Truzzi). "Dall'Editore Dedicata alla Signora Marianna Pollini" (From the Publisher, Dedicated to Mrs. Marianna Pollini). "Edizione Privila da Govern. Risoluzione" (Private Edition by Government Resolution).

Condition:
Light foxing and soiling to the pages; staining to the lower-outer corners throughout. A few of the pages have pieces missing at the lower-outer corners. There is a large, brown stain on page 52. A few pages have old handwriting in pencil. The sheets are string bound to heavier stock paper wraps. The wraps have soiling/staining, and a 1" tear at the bottom of the spine. A cluster of 5 leaves at the center are dis-bound (not attached at the strings).
