About This Item
Coward-McCann, 1938-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Good/Fair-Good. Signed. Inscribed and SIGNED by MacKinlay Kantor on the front endpaper. The volume is bumped at the spine ends and corners, edge rubbed with the boards peaking through on the bottom front corner and spine crown is lightly frayed. Small bookseller's info is stamped on the rear pastedown. The mylar sleeved dust jacket is uniformly corner clipped (price of $2.50 is intact), chipped (including a 2" x 3/4" piece at the top of the rear panel near the fold), abraded on the joints and folds to include some loss on the front fold, and there is a long closed tear along the rear joint which cuts horizontally across the medallion on the spine.
