An attractive price clipped dustjacket that has some fading to the spine and light wear to the edges. The book is bound in the publisher's ORIGINAL green cloth with some discoloration to the boards. The pages are clean with NO writing, marks or bookplates in the book. A lovely copy with the red original dustjacket.

Originally published in on June 8, 1949 by Secker and Warburg in the United Kingdom, the book follows the main character, Winston Smith, through his disillusionment with totalitarianism and a doomed struggle of resistance.
