About This Item

Collins, 1959. 1st edition. Hardcover. Fine in nice red boards with gilt spine lettering, pages clean, a smidgen of edge-spotting on the final two leaves, in a fine, unclipped dustjacket, with a very clean white rear panel, and altogether an unusually nice example of the author's fifth novel.

Synopsis

Night Without End is a Thriller novel by Scottish author Alistair MacLean, first published in 1959. It is generally considered one of MacLean's very best, especially in its depiction of the unforgiving Arctic environment; among others, the Times Literary Supplement gave it strongly favorable notices when it came out.
