Description:
London: C. Cradock and W. Joy 1813, 2nd edition. (Hardcover set) xxxvi, [2], 544, viii, 532pp. Good. 2 volumes bound in 3 / 4 leather. This set lacks the folding map and two of the plates. Present are the hand colored chart, 6 hand colored plates and 8 sepia washed plates. This set is quite worn with the following problems: the covers of Vol.1 are detached and crudely taped at the top and bottom of the spine (as is vol.2), there is some minor spotting on some of the pages, two of the plates have been reattached opposite the wrong pages, three of the pages are torn with no loss of text. There are some marginal notations which, rather than a detraction, can be considered to be of historical interest. [Howes L-40; Public Library Toronto 6994]. Locale: ; Boston; Georgia; Lower Canada; New York; South Carolina. (Canada, Pre-Confederation Canada).

D. Hooker . and George Bentham, esq. with a sketch of the life of Dr. Vogel.]. Large octavo, pp xvi, 587, (i), with a tinted frontispiece, a plain plate of views, a map, and 50 plates of botanical line drawings (some folding) on 43 leaves, as the folding plates are double-numbered. The text is very clean, the plates are a little foxed overall, and rather age-toned on the margins. Original cloth slightly marked and very slightly worn, with a new green calf spine, retaining the original endpapers. Very firm and sound internally. From the library of the Kew botanist Nigel Hepper, and the earlier provenance of Edgar Milne-Redhead.. First Edition. Quarter leather. Good.

Some of these boundaries are physical borders, others are internal guilts, philosophical divides, cultural differences, or emotional and intellectual edges. We have found that some boundaries, lines, or borders hold us back or contain us, while others beg to be crossed, and in crossing them we find ourselves set free of the constraints in our lives. Description:
Indianapolis: Dog Ear Publishing, January 2013. Trade Paperback. Fine. Slight reading wear to corners, otherwise pristine. Not from a library. No remainder mark. Not clipped. Not damaged. Suitable for gifting. 163 pages. The 25 authors of this book were volunteers in the first Peace Corps rural community development project in Africa: Sierra Leone, 1965-67. They are also the first group to tell a collective story of Peace Corps volunteers, anywhere. The Peace Corps was in its infancy then, and memories of John Kennedy were strong among the young volunteers. Sierra Leone was also in its infancy in the first few years after independence, before military coups and tribal warfare became common. The authors forthrightly recount their feelings of loneliness and isolation, and their frightening experiences with secret societies and witchcraft, but their uniquely optimistic "can-do" American attitude brought most through a great life experience.

In the Moluccas, he sold the Ruby and purchased the Nautilus; correspondingly, the test is divided into two sections.
