First edition in book form, illustrated with steel and wood engravings by Richard Doyle, 380,375pp. Bound in contemporary 3/4 brown morocco over marbled boards with matching endpapers, spine decorated in gilt and blind, top edges gilt; light wear to extremities; a lovely set with some toning to edges of plates.
