Illustrations of New York City in the 1960s, as seen by the German artist Werner Kruse, known as Robinson. In breathtaking detail, Robinson explored the city from a Greenwich Village restaurant to Chinatowns Mott Street; from a Museum of Modern Art exhibit to takeoffs and landings at Kennedy Airport; from Wall Street and the Stock Exchange to the Subway; from the Rockefeller Center ice rink to Times Square; and on and on. Unpaginated [62 pages]; monochrome illustrations and spot color throughout; 11.75 x 13.25 inches.
