Part One, the Four Gospels, is translated by James Kleist with the footnotes by Rev. Henry Willmering SJ and Part Two, Acts of the Apostles, Epistles and Apocalypse, is translated by Joseph Lilly with his own notes. Two page preface by Joseph Husslein SJ. Illustrated with five full page black and white maps. Footnotes present throughout and a two page listing of the Epistles and Gospels for Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation is at the back. The externals show mild wear to the spine tips, tape stains on the head and tail margins of the front and back boards. Previous owner's name (library) stamped on the front free end paper and on the title page and an inked note "NT - Kleist-Lilly" on the tail edge of the text block. Attachment remains on the back free end paper. Otherwise the text is very clean and the binding is tight. The unclipped dust jacket is worn on the edges and at the spne tips. .
