Clean except for a prior owner's name on the front free endpaper; dark toning to endpapers and preliminaries, with short tears at some edges, and the flexible cloth cover shows five short, vertical surface ripples on the front and small spots of wear at corners, otherwise sound. viii, 292pp. Toledano 095.1, in style 3 binding (green) but with only one gold bar at the heel. Publication date given as terminus ante quem, because no date is shown, but the Brodzky endpapers were not in use after 1925.
