New York: Robert Sears, 1850. Sixth Edition. Hardcover. Good condition. Illustrations include views of all major American towns but features views of Our Lady of The Hudson at Cold Spring NY. as well as Oregon Territory.

Thick 8vo, 608 pp, with 16 page publishers catalogue at rear, illustrated with tissue guarded frontispiece and decorative title page and with numerous woodblock engravings throughout the text including many full page plates. Original brown cloth with gilt title and illustrations, gilt motif and blind stamped designs to rear. Spine chipped, rear hinge starting, light general fox spotting. Overall a bright clean tight copy with a library printed book plate inserted inside the front cover.
