London: Collins, 1950. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. First Edition. 8vo. Pp. xxxi, 304, with 47 colour plates, 32 black-and-white plates and 75 figures in the text. Original dust jacket near fine, not price clipped, no loss, a little toned, flecked to the spine, now protected in a clear archival sleeve. Green buckram cloth unmarked, slight fading. Contents clean and tight, a few faint spots to endpapers, top edge lightly dust soiled, no inscriptions. A near fine very bright first edition in a near fine jacket. [Collecdting the New naturalists NN14A].
