London, Alex. Hogg, 1785 1st. Hardback 8vo. 8.5 x 5.25 inches. Quarterbound calf leather to spine and marbled paper to boards. Maroon leather spine label lettered in gilt. In very good condition. Corners and edges bumped and rubbed, rubbing to boards etc. Ends of spine slightly chipped. Faint inscription to top edge of title page, a couple of minor foxing spots else pages all very clean and bright, some minor offsetting from plates. Else a very good clean and tight copy. vi + 392pp. Illustrated with 20 (ex. 21) B&W engraved copper-plates (2 fold-out) lacks one plate “Le Fleur taking leave of his Female Acquaintance.”
