Small old owner's inscription on ffep and half title page and a couple small notes on rfep, otherwise pages bright and clean and free of marks, tears, soiling and staining. Bound in publisher's purple cloth with gilt title, author and publisher to spine. Covers very lightly worn. An excellent copy of this standard reference work on the history and evolution of the BCP, including treatment of the American BCP.
