About This Item

London: John Murray, 1945. First edition. Light edge rubbing, names and dates on front free endpaper, some bubbling to pastedowns near hinges and light offset to free endpapers near hinges, otherwise very good or better in lightly soiled dust jacket with tanned spine, shallow chipping to spine ends (not affecting any lettering) and a few small closed edge tears. An attractive copy, despite the noted flaws.
