NY: Farrar Straus & Cudahy; (1960). First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Top edge of boards and page block are slightly darkened. The jacket has a little edgewear and the rear panel is slightly soiled. Early ownership signature of Larry McMurtry in pencil on front endpaper (probably from the year the book was published). Houston new bookstore label at bottom of rear pastedown (McMurtry finished his MA at Rice in 1960).
