With articles, illustrations, photographs on early twentieth-century needlecraft, as well as vintage advertisements, including splendid full-page color ad for Cream of Wheat Company (showing the Cream of Wheat Man in front of the "Ye Cream of Wheat Inn" with a little girl asking him, "What do you charge for board, sir?"); full-page ad for Karo Syrup; full-page color ad for Hinds Honey and Almond Cream ("For a g ift"); full-page color ad to rear cover for Old Dutch Cleanser ("Keeps your Kitchen Spick and Span"). Issue previously folded; lengthy closed tear to page 13; covers and pages show edge wear in places; periodic small chips along outer narrow spine fold; covers show some wear and light soil in places. .
