G+ (Ex-library, with usual library markings, bookplate on front inside cover, pocket and discoloration at back inside cover, perforation stamp used on illus., pages are slightly tanned, covers show moderated edge and corner wear, otherwise still nice.). Navy blue cloth, 3 vols. of 6-vol. set, gilt letters on spines, 456, 483, 510 pp., 3 plates as frontispieces. "A new edition, with additions and notes bringing the work down to 1827." Note that this is volumes 1-3 of a 6-volume set. These are the original books and not print-on-demand copies.
