Preface by author, preface to the fourth edition, list of illustrations, appendix and index the text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs, illustrations and graphs. 1/4 navy blue coloured cloth covered back strip. 3/4 stiffened card covers with black coloured titles to the front panel. A book that was first published in 1916. In this book the author looks at the correlation of scientific principles and how they relate to farming. This book is showing age and use. Chipping to the back strip edges with heavy rubbing to all edges and panels of the book – please see photograph. Previous owners name to the top edge of the front panel which has become indistinguishable as the ink has led. Browning of the text book edges and age timing of the pages. Heavy foxing to the first few and last few pages of the book with some scattered foxing throughout. The underlying webbing of the book is visible in some portions of the book and previous owners name to the top edge of the verso of the front panel. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 230 pages,.
