The volume is collated complete. Thirty-four hand-colored plates, engraved hand-colored title, and frontispiece portrait of Linnaeus in volume one. 147pp; thirty hand-colored plates, engraved hand-colored title-page and frontispiece portrait of Pennant in Volume 2. 166pp. Both half-titles are present. All plates are protected by a tissue-guard and are in excellent condition. A crisp and clean copy. All 64 plates are beautifully produced and colored. The title se3ldom comes up for sale and is usually missing several of the color plates. See photos.. First Edition. 1/2 Dark Green Morocco. Light Corner and Edge Wear/No Dust Jacket. 6 5/8" x 4 1/2".
