Edinburgh: David Douglas, 1882. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. Second Edition. Royal 8vo. 26 x 18cm (external dims). Pp. xlviii, 324. Illustrated with 40 etchings (heliogravures) by George Reid and J. Wycliffe Taylor, and vignettes reproduced from the author's sketchbooks. Contemporary full tree calf, professionally and inconspicuously rebacked, gitl dulled to the spine, elaborate gilt dentelles to inside, very good. Original marbled end papers. Contents clean and tight, some spotting/foxing to front and rear blanks and half title otherwise pages clean and crisp, no inscriptions. A very good copy..
