An updated version of "Native Administration and Political Development in British Tropical Africa", this is the second of five volumes (the last being an index) covering modern Malawi, Tanzania, and Zambia. The report gives a detailed regional account the countries mentioned covering social services, ethnic distribution, native administration, and more; also has general information on each country including its constitution, political associations, laws, courts. Blue boards wtih gilt titling on spine, blind-stamped border on front and back boards, charts throughout, 168 pages. Cover has shelf wear, including some tiny spots along edge adjacent to front of spine and on top edge, corners and spine ends slightly worn, previous owner's name in ink on end paper, ink stamp on same page, tightly bound, interior in very good condition, clean and bright.
