Philadelphia: George W. Childs, 1863. Hardcover. Very Good. Octavo hardcover in textured dark green cloth , spine ornately lettered in gilt. Nith Edition stated on the title page. 301 pp. with index. Very good, a bit cocked and with a closed short split to the bottom rear gutter. Occasional small stains interior. Despite the fact that is this is stated as a ninth edition, a remarkably scarce early American cookbook, first printed in 1850.
