Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., (c. 1935). first U.S. edition. hardcover. Very good. Octavo, orange cloth covers, stamped in black, 204 pages. Very Good. No dust jacket. Gerhart Seger was a member of the German Reichstag in the 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Parliaments. In the Weimar Republic, Seger was managing director of the German Peace Society and an editor for various Social Democratic newspapers. In 1933 he was sent to the Oranienburg camp, an early Nazi concentration camp. He escaped into Czechoslovakia at the end of 1933, and publcized his experienes in the camp. in book form and also lectured aross Europe and the United States. 092508E German Resistance
