Colour-illustrated throughout, self-printed silver foil softcovers, cover art of 1949 Nash grille (minor shelfwear, slight rubbing); 8vo. [4 pp (unpaginated).], photo-illustrated, self-printed softcovers, stamp of Wentworth & Irwin on front cover, VG set. First edition of this famed Nash Motors Co. dealer’s catalogue illustrating the Nash line-up of Ambassador and Nash 600 “Upside-Down Bathtub” models for 1949. The durable and sturdy Nash engines were wrapped in the large and roomy 1949 Airflyte models pioneered by respected automotive engineer, Nils E. Wahlburg. Although many decried the Nash’s tendancy to early rustout and poor resale value, others praised them for their comfort, interior room, quiet ride, and gas mileage. Worldcat locates 2 copies (The Met, Stanford); No copies located of the Mechanix Illustrated offprint review.
