Facsimile of the London, 1803 edition (Ferguson 375). 4to. xvi, 196pp, folding plan of sliding keels, folding chart, 6 plates (one colour). Red cloth, as issued (without a dustwrapper). Very slight pale spotting to the edges, otherwise a very good clean copy. .

Facsimile Edition; 4to; pp. (ii), (xii), v-xxvi, 195; large folding frontispiece (A Sketch of the Boats & a Cutter with Sliding Keels,....), 1 full-page colour illustrations, 4 b/w. full-page illustrations, 1 folding colour map, ( The Southern Part of New Holland), appendix; original red cloth, title lettered in gilt on spine, no dustjacket, small tear to margin of folding sketch, otherwise a very good copy. Includes remarks by the Master and Lieutenant on performance of the sliding keel and the ship. Interestingly the meeting with an American whaler at the Falklands and the exchange of supplies and information on the use of potatoes to prevent scurvy. Captain Grant also took his vessel to Wilson's Promontory, Western Port bay and Churchill Island where he planted crops.
