Bickers & Son. London.,1889. First printing of this abriged edition. 8vo. (8.6 x 5.7 inches). Illustrated with a folding colour map and ten mono plates in "permanent photography". Finely bound in contemporary full brown pebble grained morocco. Spine with raised bands, ruled in blind. Gilt lettering. Boards with triple blind ruled borders and gilt stamped school arms in centre. All edges gilt. Inner dentelles gilt. Eton School prize label on front paste down endpaper. Some minor rubbing to extremities but overall a very good, bright copy.:
