Printed for Private Distribution Only. London. 1840. Octavo. xii, (3), 222pp. Half-title, Title, Engraved frontis. portrait with coat of arms, 11 further engraved plates (D. Cox & W. Radclyffe), with tissue guards, errata slip. Later quarter calf, original boards, spine in six with gilt motifs, rules and lettering. Corners a little bumped. Slightly toned with occasional spotting/foxing. Coombs Bookseller label to fep.

Provenance:

Bookplate of W. H. Reece to fep. William Henry Reece, F.S.A. ( -1873) Lawyer, author and translator, of Plas Tudno and Warwickshire. Plas Tudno was an early Victorian Mansion set in private grounds on the lower slopes of the Great Orme.

Thomas Turner (1782-1859) Banker, of Hillfield House, Gloucester.
