Bernard Quartitch, 1893 Book. Illus. by De Brys and White, John. Good. Hardcover. 1893 printing of the 1590 publishing. Original softcover protected by modern library cloth binding. PO (Joseph Cheshire) note and signature on fep and name on rfep and front of original paper cover. Paper cover has been reinforced with scotch tape, appears to be prior to rebinding. Scotch tape reinforcement also in ditch between preface and title page verso, and one page within (both look about the same age as other repair). Alll in all, the book feels quite tight and secure, pages quite supple.
