Ex-library, no dust jackets, with library markings on spines and covers and with other usual libary markings. Books have been rebound, and binding tape has been used over the spine of Vol. 2. Hard covers published by Longman, Green, Longman and Roberts in London in 1860. Corners are bumped and worn, with some splitting. Marbled edges of pages. Some pages have pencil markings. Vol. 1 has one foldout map and Vol. 2 has one foldout map and a foldout chart showing valley profiles. Books are in fair condition. 8vo, 966 pages, 3.8 lb.; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 966 pages .
