Philadelphia, 1836. [4, ads],456pp. plus folding map. Original half blue cloth and calf boards, original calf labelon spine. Noticeable edge wear, front hinge almost detached. Minor foxing. Good. Untrimmed. Back went in search of Sir John Ross, travelling through north central Canada to the Great Slave Lake, and up the Great Fish River to the Arctic Ocean. The party spent three years in the Arctic, and was responsible for important explorations. This is the first American edition. WAGNER-CAMP 58b:3. FIELD 65. SABIN 2613.
