Sydney: Dymock's Book Arcade & Circulating Library, 1918. Second series ed.. Paperback, good condition, frontispiece portrait (author), card covers (foxed, marked, edges repaired), pages toned, black cloth spine (repair), edgewear, autograph (author's written dedication). 180 pp. This scarce booklet on the Napoleon and relevance to the current World War (WW1) was written by a literary staffer at the Sydney Sun newspaper. It is sequel to the Series 1 (which had 25 chapters). Series 2 has 25 additional (new) chapters. Cover blurb: " Second series (25 new chapters, graphically written). Phenomenal success of first series (two editions in a fortnight)" The written dedication reads: "From E. George Marks to Dr Cecil Purser (Vice-Chancellor University of Sydney). Best wishes [etc].".
