About This Item

Jan 01, 1988. Hardcover. Fine. Hardback with dust jacket. Poems. One of Carol dine's strongest poems ends with the exhortation, "If you are alone, run." The world of her imagination is charged with danger. She writes as a woman who has known losses, with an acute awareness of what it means to be vulnerable and mortal. Her poetry is open, intimate, and unflinchingly honest. HARDBACK. Hand SIGNED by the author, Carol Dine, on the full title page: "Carol Dine, June 1993, Marblehead." Near Brand new condition copy. Beautiful dust jacket. FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING copy. NOT Inscribed to anyone or by anyone. Beautiful condition book with a flawless first state Dust Jacket. NOT Remaindered. NOT Inscribed, NOT Ex-library, NOT Book Club Edition, Price clipped only. Looks like it was never read and only opened to Sign. Book has no flaws. NOT signed on a PUBLISHER tipped-in page, laid in the page, half title page, first front end page, or bookplate as many books are today! (Note: Publishers are now attempting to pass off books as "Signed" by inserting author signed sheets at the time of printing like cited above!). Dust jacket is in Like new condition. First Edition, First Printing, hand SIGNED to the full title page by Carol Dine. No inscription; full signature only. Publication date: January 1, 1988. No foxing on the edges. Interior pages are white, clean, and unmarked. Boards are tight. No names, writing, underlining, highlighting, creases, prior owner inscriptions, bookplates, etc. FREE USPS tracking and book shipped in a box. ALWAYS wrapped securely for added protection. I may have multiple copies of this book for sale. If I do, all were signed the same day, at the same signing event, at the same time, using the same pen by the author. I use only one listing photo of the signed book page for all the listings, and each signature page, naturally, may be slightly different. I welcome any questions you might have. ISBN: 0-8233-0452-3.
