Black coloured cloth covered boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. bumping to the backstrip corners and to the book corners. Minor rubbing to the book panels and light browning to the textblock edges. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down. Colour illustrated dustwrapper with green and white coloured titles to the front panel and blue and white coloured titles to the backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear dustwrapper panel. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. A few tears to the top dustwrapper edge. Rubbing to the dustwrapper and a little fading to the backstrip. Clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner. A look at the names given to places, bodies of water etc., and as to why a certain name was given. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. (6), VII-IX, (3), 3-411, (3) pages,.
