Light tan rough textured cloth lettered in dark blue, photo illustrated front endpapers, rear endpapers blank, no dustjacket. Good to very good condition with some light rubbing to the extremities, spine very subtly darkened, good hinges, sound text block, slightly age-yellowed pages, a few with some finger smudges to the margins, no names or other markings. A genuine look at New York street life in the 1940s in all its gritty urban splendor.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
