The binding is lightly rubbed & there are vertical creases to the wrappers. The spine & extremities are chipped with pieces out of the head & tail of the spine. A subscriber's name & address & a date are stamped on the rear wrap along with postage stamps & a light stain. 29 & 23 pages. 2 pages of black-and-white illustrations. The page corners are lightly creased. Good.

"Nailebn" describes itself as the only publication in both the Yiddish and English languages and devoted entirely to the elucidation of the condition of the Jews throughout the world. It also brings authentic information on the building in Biro-Bidjan [Russia] of the first and only Jewish autonomous territory in the world.

Among the contents of this issue are the articles "The Warm Lake in Biro-Bidjan" by J. Peretzman, "Life is Free and Joyous for Jewish Children in Ukraine" by Joshua Kunitz, "A Jewish Court of Law in the City of Kiev" by A Saffian and "How to Combat Anti-Semitism" by Morton Deutsch.
