Otherwise pages bright and clean and free from marking, soiling and staining. Gift inscription to title page. Numerous elaborate headpieces and initial capitals. All page edges rouged. Bound in contemporary black cloth with gilt title and author to front cover and spine. Covers and spine with elaborate embossed decoration. Covers very lightly worn. A very good copy in a well preserved binding. A scarce work.
