London: Newnes, 1945. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. Third Edition 1945 (First Published 1943). Publisher's beige cloth with gilt lettering to the front board and spine and with the Lone Pine emblem to the bottom right hand corner of the front board. Map end-papers. A scratch to the front board and a couple of minor corner bumps otherwise a VG+ copy. In the rare D/W priced 7/6 net to the inside flap (as called for). The D/W has a little very minor wear at the spine tips and a touch of creasing to the front cover. A nice copy. Shows well. Illustrations by Bertram Prance. Photographs/scans available upon request.
