London: Methuen, 1953. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. First UK Edition. Publisher's red boards with black lettering. A former owner's neat name and address to the front free end-paper otherwise a VG+ copy (with no foxing to the page block edges and just the lightest of smattering to the end-papers. The dustwrapper is priced 7s 6d net to the inside flap (as called for). The dustwrapper has a slither of loss to the top edge of the front panel, rubbing/creasing at the head/tail of the spine and a 4 x 3 cm chip with associated creasing to the top edge of the rear panel.
