New York: William Morrow, 1988. 1st/1st. VG/VG. Stated First Edition, first printing with complete 10 number line starting with 1. The book is very good. A hint of lean but pages tight with good corners and clean unmarred boards. Textblock is clean with no writing, bookplate or markings and not BCE, ex-library or remaindered. Dust jacket is unclipped ($16.95) and very good with mild shelf wear, faint tanning to flap edges and a half-inch closed tear to lower front panel near corner. Protected in a new Brodart Mylar cover.
Synopsis
The Mysteries of Pittsburgh is a 1988 novel by American author Michael Chabon. The story is a coming-of-age tale set during the early 1980s in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was Chabon's first novel, which he began writing when he was a twenty-one-year-old undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh.
