This specific hardback book is in very good condition with some minor wear to the cover or edges and corners but with a hard board cover that has a binding that is showing the netting where the endpaper is torn from top to bottom, although the binding is still completely intact. The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. We package all books in custom cardboard book boxes for shipment and ship daily with tracking numbers.; "The biography of Archduchess Louise of Austria, Crown Princess of Saxony, Luise Von Habsburg, who was married to Prince Frederick Augustus of Saxony who became Crown Prince on the death of his uncle. Rivalry with her father in law, King George of Saxony had her almost sectioned by hbim for life, but she fled the Court at Dresden. She was divorced by Royal Decree of her father in law in 1903, and was finally stripped of her titles by the head of the Hapsburgs, Emperor Franz Josef in 1907 upon her second marriage. These memoirs were published so Luisa could clear her name & lay the blame for her disgrace upon her father in law & his ministers, who she claimed were fearful of her great popularity in Saxony and plotted to have her incarcerated."; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 289 pages .
