Blue cloth boards and spine with bright gilt lettering on the spine. 480 pp 8vo. The author was born in Russia, raised in Milwaukee, moved to Palestine in the 1920s, became the prime minister of Israel and one of the political giants of our time. She was also Israel's labor minister, foreign minister, and the leader of Israel during its most difficult time in the day of the Yom Kippur War of 1973. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
