E.P. Dutton, 1950. 1st Edition . Hardcover. very good plus/Very Good. Very good plus with slight rubbing to edges and ownership name and address at top of front pastedown, otherwise clean and tight. In a dust jacket that presents as very good ($2.50 price attached) albeit with interior tape repairs to the edges and folds, plus four corresponding tape repairs to the exterior (see photos). INSCRIBED BY MICKEY SPILLANE on the front pastedown: "Hi Ron--from Mike and me--hello! Mickey Spillane." The Mike he refers to is Mike Hammer, his famous detective and the protagonist of this and many future novels. An excellent signed copy of Spillane's second book.
