Dark brown cloth, gold lettering; illus of lion wrestling with a snake in high grass, spine shows a primate climbing a tree, Some wear to corners, edges, and spine ends. Front flyleaf corner is clipped, cracked at hinge, some signatures just beginning to separate. 1" strip cut from top of contents page, orig owner's name lightly stamped on half title page. Many B&W illus, entertaining reading.
