London: Cassell and Company, 1913. 12mo., grey cloth, pp. [xii], 84; frontispiece illustration after The Light of the World (William Holman Hunt). The book has a preface, however it is undated and may have appeared in previous editions. Covers a bit bowed, else very good or better in a nice dust jacket. William Boyd Carpenter (1841-1918), was an English Clergyman, Canon of Westminster, and Bishop of Ripon. He was also interested in the Eugenics Movement and was President of the Society of Psychical Research in 1912..
