A scarce, late nineteenth-century children's fairy tale about two little elves, Mustard and Cress, colourfully illustrated throughout. A delightful, late nineteenth-century children's tale about two little elves, Mustard and Cress, a prickly old elf named Burdock, and a beautiful fairy princess. The first edition of this work. In the publisher's original pictorial paper boards. Illustrated with twenty-four plates in colour by C.O. Murray. Collated and complete. In the publisher's original quarter cloth binding with pictorial paper boards.
