London: Constable and Company Ltd., 1932. Reprint Edition - 1949 . Clothbound Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Volume II of Shaw's prolific documentation of London's rich musical life. 325 pages. CONDITION: The book - lacking its original dust-jacket - is solid and square, its gilt spine titling still bright, though the spine ends are lightly bumped and slightly discolored. The pages are unmarked, although several of the pages have some spots of faint spoiling/staining. This remains a quite respectable copy - now in a clear, protective polypropylene bag.
